Reporting Piracy of Our Content

Every digital guidebook sold by The Guidebook & Co.™ is individually watermarked with the buyer’s email address and order ID at the time of purchase. If you find any of our guidebooks posted, shared, uploaded, or sold anywhere without authorization, please report it immediately.

Email info@theguidebookco.com with the URL, platform, and screenshot. We investigate every report and pursue confirmed cases. We offer a finder’s fee for verified reports that lead to a successful, confirmed takedown action.

Enforcement & Penalties

Unauthorized distribution of our copyrighted works can result in statutory damages of up to $150,000 per work under 17 U.S.C. § 504, plus attorneys’ fees and court costs. We use automated content-monitoring services across major platforms and actively pursue every confirmed case of infringement, including against individuals who received a watermarked file from an original buyer.

Counter-Notice

If content you posted has been removed in response to a DMCA notice and you believe the removal was in error, you may submit a counter-notice to info@theguidebookco.com with the required elements under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3). Note: submitting a false counter-notice may subject you to civil liability.

Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with 17 U.S.C. § 512(i), we maintain and enforce a policy of terminating accounts of users who are repeat copyright infringers.
