1. The Company

“The Guidebook & Co.™” (the “Company,” “we,” “us”) is a Massachusetts Limited Liability Company (LLC) operating theguidebookco.com (the “Site”). All disputes are subject to Boston, Massachusetts jurisdiction. By accessing the Site or buying any product, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase. By buying, you confirm you are 18+ and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

3. License — what you receive

Purchasing any product from The Guidebook & Co.™ grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable personal license to use the content for your own personal or business education. You are purchasing a license, not ownership of the content. No transfer or resale rights are granted under any circumstances.

You MAY:

• Read and use the guidebooks for your own personal or business education
• Print one (1) personal copy from any digital guidebook you purchased
• Reference the material in your own work with attribution

You MAY NOT:

• Resell, redistribute, share, upload, post, sublicense, or give away our guidebooks in any form
• Transfer your license to any other person or entity
• Copy, screenshot, or reproduce more than 10% of any guidebook for any purpose other than personal note-taking
• Translate, modify, or create derivative works without prior written permission
• Use our content to train machine learning systems, language models, or any automated system
• Strip, alter, or obscure the watermark, copyright notice, or buyer ID embedded in any digital file
• Use our brand name “The Guidebook & Co.™”, logo, or trademarks for any commercial purpose without prior written permission

Every digital guidebook is watermarked with the buyer’s email and unique order ID. Unauthorized distribution is traceable. Violators will receive DMCA takedown notices and may face statutory damages of up to $150,000 per work under 17 U.S.C. § 504, plus attorneys’ fees.

4. All Sales Final — Payment & Delivery

All sales are processed securely through Stripe. ALL SALES ARE FINAL AND NON-REFUNDABLE. By completing checkout, you explicitly acknowledge that you understand and accept this policy.

• Digital & Audio: Delivered instantly by email upon payment. Sale is irrevocable upon delivery of the download link, whether or not the file has been downloaded.
• Hardcover (POD): Printed on demand by BookVault. Orders are non-cancellable once the print job is submitted (typically within 24 hours). Shipping: 7–10 business days domestic, 14–28 business days international.
• Qualifying exceptions only: Corrupted files, duplicate charges, unauthorized charges. See Refund Policy for full details.

5. Intellectual Property & Trademarks

All content on the Site and in our guidebooks — text, graphics, logos, designs, photos, layouts, and compilations — is the exclusive property of The Guidebook & Co.™ LLC and is protected under U.S. and international copyright and trademark law. The name “The Guidebook & Co.™” and the associated wordmark and logo are trademarks of the Company. Unauthorized use of our trademarks is prohibited and may result in legal action.

6. Per-Buyer Watermarking

Every digital file purchased from us is individually watermarked at the point of delivery with the buyer’s email address and order ID. This watermark cannot be legitimately removed. Any file found in distribution that does not bear a valid buyer watermark, or whose watermark does not match the distributor’s identity, constitutes evidence of copyright infringement and will be treated accordingly.

7. No Professional Advice

Our guidebooks are educational. They are not legal, tax, accounting, financial, medical, or licensed professional advice. Always consult a licensed professional before making major financial, legal, or business decisions. We are not your lawyer, accountant, broker, or advisor.

8. No Income Guarantees

Our guidebooks teach business and trade skills. We make no guarantees about earnings. Results depend entirely on your effort, skills, market conditions, timing, and factors outside our control. See our Earnings Disclaimer.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Guidebook & Co.™ LLC, its members, officers, contractors, and affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or our products. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior twelve (12) months.

10. DMCA

If you believe content on our Site infringes your copyright, send a DMCA takedown notice to info@theguidebookco.com. See our DMCA Policy for the required notice format.

11. Termination

We may refuse service or terminate access at our sole discretion if you violate these Terms, attempt to pirate our content, file a fraudulent chargeback, or engage in any conduct harmful to the Company or its customers.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of our products shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Boston, Massachusetts. By purchasing, you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
